Team Manager Resources

Thank you for your interest in being a Team Manager! Your role is essential to this organization. The team manager is responsible for and must be dedicated to the overall organization and cooperation between your coaches, players, parents and the Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association. The position was created to coordinate all on-ice activity and carry out other duties assigned to by your coaching staﬀ. These duties include scheduling of away and home games, entering tournaments, securing hotels (if necessary) and to act as the onsite oﬃcial making sure oﬀ-ice oﬃcial positions are ﬁlled for home games.

To Register For SafeSport Training

You’ll need a current USA Hockey confirmation number (number from your online registration as a Player/Coach or Manager/Volunteer) or your Referee number. If you don’t know your USA Hockey confirmation number you can access it by clicking here – under Member Options, click on ‘Request Duplicate Registration Confirmation.’ You can register to obtain a USA Hockey Confirmation number at membership.usahockey.com.
Click here to register for SafeSport Training. You will be asked to select your membership type and then enter your USA Hockey confirmation number or your officials (referee) number and last name. Please make sure there are NO SPACES before or after your number. Next click on the green continue button on the bottom right side of the page. Please verify your information then click the green next button. You will then be asked to fill out the registration information requested. Once all information is entered, please click the green save button on bottom right had side of the page.
Once you have registered you will receive an email from No-reply@safesport.org with the subject titled “SafeSport Account Created.” Please open the email and click on the “confirm email address.” You will only need to register the first time to set up the account. Once the account is set up, you will sign in using your email address and password. If you do not receive an email, please contact help.desk@safesport.org.
Click here to sign back into SafeSport Training. You will arrive on the Learning Dashboard page and see the course you need to complete. You have finished the training once you receive a SafeSport Trained Certificate.
