The Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association hosts several preseason clinics to get your player ready for tryouts, and the upcoming season. You will find details about the camps below.
Amy Clagget Clinic
The Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association will be hosting a Power Skating Clinic to help
players improve and work on their skating skills. Skating fundamentals such as
forward and backward stride, crossovers, stops and quick starts, and strong
edges will be covered in the sessions. These sessions will be instructed by
Amy Claggett.
Ages
This clinic is available to skaters who are Squirt/10U or older.
Where
The clinic will be held at the Sauk Prairie Area Recreation Center.

Bantam Checking Clinic
This clinic will prepare our Bantam/14U aged players for checking. Sessions will be instructed by Travis Hilliard.

This clinic is only available to Bantam/14U aged players.

The checking clinic will be held at the Sauk Prairie Area Recreation Center.
When
September 20th, 8pm-9:30pm
Try Goalie for Free
If your 8U-14U player has ever thought about being a goalie this is for them!
There will be 2 sessions based on sign up (to ensure we have the right size goalie equipment). Each session will be 1.25 hrs. The first 30 min will be for going over and putting on the equipment. The rest of the time will be on the ice with goalie coaches and current and past goalies from the association!
Registration closes 9/22 and which session your player is assigned to will be emailed out by 9/27.
Skaters are asked to bring: Skates, breezers & helmet
Sessions: 9:30am -10:45am or 10:45am - 12:00pm
SPYHA Preseason Clinic
This preseason clinic will be instructed by former Badger player Claudia Kepler.
