LEARN.PLAY.GROW.
Learn to Play can help your child learn and grow in all aspects of life. Playing hockey helps improve children’s physical fitness while strengthening their mental health, encouraging leadership behaviors, fostering character development, and teaching important life lessons.
Ages
This program is designed for skaters at the 6U & 8U ages seeking an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game without committing to the 6U or 8U team schedule until they feel they are ready.
When
Practices are typically held on Saturday or Sunday mornings (not every week) from November through February.
Where
Practices are held at the Sauk Prairie Ice Arena.
Practices
There will be ~1 practice each week.
Games
There is no game play for the learn to play program. Participants will be able to move to 6u or 8U at any point during the season, based on readiness.
