SPYHA Member Ice Reservation Requirements
Current SPYHA members and volunteers may request to use available ice at no cost, provided the following requirements are met.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in loss of SPARC ice reservation privileges and/or disciplinary action.
Requirements
- Must be a current SPYHA Member or Qualified Volunteer, as defined below.
- Must have an approved Ice Reservation Confirmation from the SPYHA Ice Scheduler (ice@saukprairiehockey.com).
- Must provide adult supervision at all times.
- Must provide a SPYHA Approved Zamboni Driver and ensure the ice is cleaned after use. The name must be provided at the time of request. If an approved driver cannot be provided, the ice time will be charged at the current rate and may be canceled if a driver cannot be sourced.
- SPARC must be left in the same condition or better. This includes:
- Returning all training aids to proper locations (player benches or coaches’ locker room).
- Picking up all pucks and storing them in the designated bucket.
- Collecting trash and returning furniture to its original position.
- Ensuring all doors are locked and lights are turned off.
- Payment is required if any conditions of use are not met or if non-SPYHA members participate. Non-member use requires a paid reservation unless an exception is granted by the SPYHA Board or the Ice Scheduler.
- If SPARC ice is sold during a reserved time slot, unpaid reservations may be canceled in favor of a paid reservation.
Reservation Process
- Email the SPYHA Ice Scheduler with desired date/time and name of the provided SPYHA Zamboni Driver (ice@saukprairiehockey.com).
- Reservation is not confirmed until you receive an approval from the Ice Scheduler.
- Provide adult supervision throughout the reservation.
- Ensure the ice is cleaned by an approved Zamboni driver prior to the end of your time slot.
- Leave SPARC the same or better than you found it.
